What's happening?

I'm getting back into Linux, this time using Ubuntu which is easy to install and maintain, but being based on Debian still has the facility to allow to dig deeper if wanted. I'm also playing around with MySQL with a view to switch from Access for the few personal databases I keep. So far so good with a books database running queries, updates and insertions; now to add some CSS to make the pages look more presentable and add some themed content pages.
